    Very Good For Review

I have used this book quite extensively as a mode of quick review before exams. It does a very good job of presenting the major concepts that are commonly tested on. The end of the chapter quizes are a great way to assess your personal comprehension of the chapter. Do realize that this book is designed as a review text and not a comprehensive text. Students who have no prior background knowledge of physiology may want to consult a different text such as Guyton in order to gain a better appreciation for the subject. When it comes to review and board prep, however, this book is definitely the best.
