This book is my favorite book. I like bruce lee he was the best kung fu artist in the world. This book tells u the thing about him and how he ever became a kung fu legand. He was the one that practice for 10 hours stight and started to teach people the history of kung fu. I think if bruce lee was still alive today he would the best martial arts teacher in the world.
This is a very good book for Bruce Lee fans. It is good because it gives very in depth accounts of his life. Everything from his outrageous sense of humor to a failed romance. (noone else ever talks about that). It also talks about his intense anger over several issues, and his dream project 'The Silent Flute' and the trips to India. Also his life growing up. A lot of very good stories that for some reason only Robert Clause had the presense of mind to really get into. This is what you want to read. Most of the other books just get into the timing of his movie projects. The other books get into the philosophy too much. Boring! A dab will do you. The only thing I think could have been improved would be the photographs. Some of photos are really good and should be centered on one page , instead of over two, because the book folds over someones head, also some of the pictures aren't that interesting or flattering to Bruce and they are made really big. I could have picked a better photo selection and layout. But some of the photos are outstanding and I would have paid a little more for the book to be made in color. Also I don't know why they decided to put an artistic picture of him on the cover. They could have picked one of the many good actual photos of him besides that artistic one, but the content is the important thing, and it is very good. It takes a while to read it all, and it is all very good. You really get to know who he hated in Hollywood, also.
This is a great book for people that are interested in Bruce Lee and who want to know more than the general information. This book pinpoints all of the significant dates and events of Bruce's life with photos and short stories. Interesting book.
