    Good book, but Disappointed with the seller.

    Be careful when purchasing this book, what came to me was only the first volume. And it's never mentioned in the description that I will only get the first volume. The book itself was good. I used this book in nursing school. I just needed to order another set because I left my books in my home country. And I was very disappointed on what I got. I don't even know how to order the second volume, I searched it on the website, and nothing came up.

    the text makes it hard to organize and memorize the key points

    I find it has many repetitions. Moreover, even the needed information is provided in such a vague narrative style that makes it hard to organize and memorize the key points. Consequently it is not easy to find what you need in the body of the text, because important facts and definitions are scattered and not highlighted in any way. Tables and charts however may be helpful. I also did not find any answers or rationales for Critical Thinking exercises. It seems to me this fact is a very disappointing omission. At the same time the book contains a lot of useful information. It would be indeed, the best source, after the thorough text editing with the goal on mind to make studying process more efficient.

    Study Guide for Brunner and Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing

    Helpful!

    This is a required nursing book for my BSN program. It's helpful because it reviews A&P and pathophysiology with each section. It also incorporates Pharmacology with each disease process. This book gives good examples, charts, tables, figures, and pictures for those who are visual learners. The DVD-ROM and online tools are also excellent teaching tools. I found this book easy to read and the layout of each chapter was easy to follow.
