Mr. Paloma is a unique, and gifted writer. This book was different, but equally a page turner. I just didn't want to put it down. It was an enjoyment to read. Waiting for the next one!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Rich Paloma's latest work has a captivating story and provided great insight to the thoughts of a vet police officer and the workings of an unpopular investigation. The romance between Spinelli and his sweetheart Annie is an excellent underlying story.
I read the Beach Club and now Brushed Back. I have to say Bruched Back is much better with intriguing characters, a descriptive valley setting, and the cynicism of a charcater that you find yourself rooting for through the journey.

Mr. Paloma has done it again. I really enjoyed BEACH CLUB, but honestly find this one even better. The characters are very relatable. You can empathize with Spinelli's dilemas. I found myself questioning my thoughts as the story unfolded and was very pleased with the ending. Loved the story line about his old/new flame, maybe another book to see if he can keep this girl?<BR/>Not another coffee shop/donut eating cop story. Light humor, intriguing story, lovely romance. Bravo. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Brushed Back puts you inside the mind of a California police sergeant and takes you on a journey, not just of his own redemption, but one to seek the truth when dealing with one of his own officers. The road toward the truth was a bumpy one, filled with twists and turns in every direction. Definately a story that kept you turning pages until the very end with characters that grow on you with every chapter. I loved all the details concerning the San Joaquin Valley and surrounding areas. It felt like home. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
