Assessment: The text is very basic and written at a level appropriate for the beginner. However, even taking into consideration the many color illustrations, the cost of this publication seems more than warranted for soft-bound introductory text which includes minimal specific or technical material and includes information widely available in other publications. The advantage of this manual is that it brings this pertinent information together in one basic, easy-to-use text with effective use of illustrations to clarify key points.
