    Entertaining Series!

I was hooked from the first Bubba book! The characters are so colorful, as is the community of Pegramville. What a fun world you've created for your readers! Thank you for another entertaining story! Seeing a glimpse of Bubba with Carlotta and Blanca was so cute! Books that cause me to snort hysterically are rare and this series is a true pleasure! I still find myself chuckling randomly over the fainting goats in 12 Deadly Days. Thanks again for the escape from day to day humdrums! I will try to be patient as I wait for the next one!

    Another Enjoyable Bubba Adventure!

Poor Bubba. He always starts out to do good things and somehow ends up in jail ... usually as a result of being charged with a murder that he didn't commit. This time Bubba really has his hands full. His scheming mother, Miz Demetrice and her friends are up to something but no one will tell Bubba what it is. Then there is Willodean, Bubba's heart throb. As their relationship grows what could possibly derail them. Maybe more Bubba misfortunes and lots of Zombies?

As usual, C.L. Bevill has given us an enjoyable mystery story, the same cool characters present in her previous Bubba books and intermittent humor. All put together in an excellent and well edited package. Enjoy!

Can't wait for the next one!

Loved this book. C.L. Bevill is very creative with her writing and I can hardly wait until the next one comes out. I especially love the Bubba/Brownie series. They are so funny.

    Can't go wrong with Bubba

All of the books in C.L. Bevill's Bubba series are fantastic, and this one is no exception. They are funny, warm and a true mystery. My only complaint is that I never want them to end!

    LOVED IT!!!!!!

How can I never tire of this series? Ms. Bevill has done it again! Bubba is up to his eyeballs in murder mayhem again. Ms. Demetriz and Ms. Adelia are up to no good, there are zombies everywhere (including one zombie dog), and not only do people think Bubba has killed someone (again), but now someone is trying to kill Bubba (again)!

If you haven't read any of Ms. Bevill's Bubba books before, I suppose you could read this as a stand alne and still find lots of it completely hysterical. That being said, I would recommend starting with the first (Bubba and the Dead Woman) and read in order (including the shorter Brownie novellas). The completely zany cast of characters from Pegramville just grows with each new book! There have been some fall out of my chair laughing moments with each and every book.

If you have never read ANY of Ms. Bevill's work, this is a great series to start with. It is good clean compleately insane stuff. She does offer the first book free, so please give it a try. I promise you will be hooked, that is if you are looking for a completely wild, completely silly read. If not, give something else of hers a try. She writes in many different genres -- from black comedy to romance to fantasy to thriller -- and I have read them all. I have yet to be disappointed in any her stuff.

To Ms. Bevill -- Do you ever sleep? You are one of the most prolific writers I have come across! You are amazing and I am oh so thankful for finding your books. Can't wait for whatever comes next out of that wonderful mind of yours. Thanx for another GREAT read!!

    Not So Good

I am disappointed with this book. I dont think Ms. Bevill took as much time with the characters and the story as she did in the past. This book is almost boring. It is repetitive and poorly thought out. I hope for better books in the future. Next time I hope that the author strives for an interesting and amusing book and not just outrageous crap.

Finished Bubba and the Zigzaggery Zombies last night. Poor Bubb

Finished Bubba and the Zigzaggery Zombies last night. Poor Bubba, such a simple guy wanting nothing more than a simple life with the woman he loves and his basset hound Precious. He gets into some of the darnedest messes, with the darnedest people under the darnedest circumstances.
I figured out what part of the deal was right away with a question from his beloved but that's OK, it's the journey sometimes that is a lot of the fun. Thank you CL Bevill for another great and entertaining book.

    Another hit.

Yet another great book from C.L. Bevill. Bubba's at it again, with all the humorous disasters you could hope for. Is it scary that I'm sure I know these people? I'm always sad when I reach the last page. I'm never ready to leave Bubba and company. I buy everything Bevill writes as soon as I see it published. She never disappoints. Never!!!

    Awesome book. More, please?

Bubba is on a picnic in a cemetery getting ready to ask his lady

Bubba is on a picnic in a cemetery getting ready to ask his lady love, the beautiful, feisty Willodean a very important question when they hear a moan and see zombies coming toward them. Everybody knows that dead people seem to follow Bubba around so it shouldn't be a surprise. A film crew, zombies, DEA agents, and lots of babies makes for a rousing adventure with Bubba, Precious, Willodean, and ma, complete with a murder of course, ( you'll never guess who they think did it). I really enjoyed this a lot. Bubba and Willodeans romance hits another level in this one and we get a lot of Precious which I really liked. This left me wanting even more Bubbaliciousness.
