I love the Buddha Bar series. What got me into it was the song, Straight....to number one on the 6th cd, but i hadn't bought one yet. I first bought the 8th cd, and then soon afterwards, i bought the 5th and the 4th. This one, had many of the songs I liked, especially in the drink section. What got me hooked on this one was Comme Toi. And being a Florida native, Yo Vivire made me feel like home. I listen to these cds on a daily basis, and I even persuaded my boss to download this CD. He loves it, and I love lounge music. It's great to study, cook, and do everything else with if you want to chill out and not listen to lyrics. What I also loved is that with each of these cds, the djs strung all this random music together, but smoothly that you don't know which song is a new song. It flows perfectly well. I recommend it!

I love the Buddha Bar series. I have been a fan for not too long. Last year I bought the fifth volume in the series and loved every minute of the two cd set. I found the fourth volume at my favorite record store during the summer in the used cd bins. I have to say that "Buddha Bar IV" is my personal favorite. The quality in the Buddha Bar series is excellent. It is so much better than most chill out compilations. I love hte Asian influence in the music. My only beef with the series is the price of the cds. For people who love music and have a diverse musical tastes, the "Buddha Bar" series is well worth the money. For casual listeners, I suggest saving the money or investing in cheaper clones of the "Buddha Bar" series.

Buddha Bar IV is the record that made me fall in love with ethnic lounge music. It's beautiful, sophisticated and very sexy! It's the type of CD that you won't get sick of and find yourself playing over and over again to relax or dream a little. A heartfelt applause for this exotic masterpiece.

this cd is combined with exotic and sensual sounds. it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. I find it a great cd, especially for R&R.

The price tag was a bit high for a 2 cd set, but the selection of music is varied providing something more to listen to then top 40. Would recommend if looking for something different to listen to.

Judging by the price tag I actually thought this might be something special. In fact it's a collection of thrown together stuff with a very loose thread of credibility. Check out the credits - 3 musicians, 13 techies. Says it all really, doesn't it. Go to your local library and borrow some world music CD's for 50p.
