    Love me some Faith!!

Brian K. Vaughan comes aboard and the story and dialog kepp clicking. Faith returns for a seriously "un-slayer" like mission but she's perfect for it. Seeing some things fro her point of view is great. We also get some answers to some nagging little questions. Great stuff!

    Stellar Storytelling

This volume is a stellar followup to the first one (Season 8 Volume 1). Brian K. Vaughan (see also Y: The Last Man, my all time favorite comic) is a fantastic writer and keeps true to the essence of the TV show characters and story arc. Joss Whedon's story is good too, though not as engaging as the longer/main story. The artwork is good too (and the covers are stunning). Between S8 Vol 1 and S8 Vol 2, I am definitely hooked on the comics, even though at the end of the TV show, I couldn't imagine a better ending or any followup.
