Overview

The virtual corporation is fast becoming the new standard in business. There are so many benefits involved in running a virtual corporation, it is a wonder everyone hasn’t made the transition already! Managing your own online corporation can be the most rewarding venture you will ever undertake.
Because of the versatility of online companies, you can create the illusion of a huge corporation with a minimum investment and watch your business grow to fit that illusion. The potential for success in virtual corporations has never been greater. Once you go virtual, you will likely never set foot in an office again.
Keep in mind that your virtual corporation can be as grand and profitable as you want it to be, as long as you are willing to put the effort into maintaining your big-time image. Build a rapport with your customers, keep your web site fresh and exciting…then sit back and watch your business explode. There is a pool in the future with your name on it. Keep those bunny slippers handy!
Here’s to your virtual success!

Child Care for the Virtual Corporation Owner
Even if you’ve decided to work from home in order to spend more time with your family, you may find yourself in need of childcare—particularly if your children are younger than school-age. Kids are unpredictable, and that means they won’t always go down for a nap or let the television hold their attention at the same times every day, if at all. If you have younger children, you should consider arranging childcare for at least a few hours each day. Having a sitter or family member come to your home is best, but you may end up driving somewhere.

Generally, you should expect to put in some evening hours while the kids are small.
Having school-aged children is better for a home business, but there are still holidays, vacations, snow days and that everlasting stretch of summer vacation to be concerned with. If you aren’t lucky enough to have a stay-at-home spouse, consider entrusting older children with caring for the younger ones for a few hours on vacation days, or allow them to occupy themselves for a while. Children will be excited with their independence, yet they’ll still know you’re right there in case of an emergency. Be sure to stress that “we’re out of chocolate chip cookies” does not constitute an emergency situation.
You could also arrange for relatives or friends to come and spend time with the children during non-school days. Try bribing them with dinner or planning an outing with them—or just offer money.
The arrangements you make to adjust your working life around your family life will be worth it. Running a virtual corporation is the best gift you can give your family when it allows you to spend less time stuck at an office or driving to and from work, and more time with them.
