I started my website back in 2002 when I started teaching Basic Computer Fundamentals. I wanted to add something about Internet usage, so created the website as a teaching tool. My students weren't the only ones to learn. I now also teach a simple course on creating a website and will be using this as the required 'text' for the course.

I knew absolutely nothing about creating a website, but I decided to check out this guide since I've been curious for a while and this was much cheaper than the books on the subject. This is not a book--it's a six-page fold-out on the subject, but it's got 'just the facts' you need to get started. Not too technical, but also not dumbed down.

This is absolutely the greatest for getting a quick and thorough overview of designing a website. I built my website about 8 years ago. It needs updating and this book gives you all the new "buzz words," and a general idea of what all the new features do! I recommend to anyone who is building a website for the first time, or rebuilding after a long time away.
