I am a novice wookdworker, and I found the instuctions in this book so easy to follow. I have bought probably four other books onAdirondack chair making before I found this one, and this is the one I could finally use. No need for a trammel, a complicated saber-saw jig, or a specialized forstner bit - everything you need you already have. The historical parts about the chairs was interesting as well, and it didn't take away from the real reason we buy these books - to impress family and friends. Best of all are the shopping lists. Each project (Chair, double chair, footrest) has its own shopping list, and instructions. A real treat at the end of the book are instructions on how to use the waste wood for small building blocks for the kids... Thoroughly enjoyable book. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
