Meet the Author

Linda Lantieri is a founding member of CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, and a co-founder of the Resolving Conflict Creatively Program, one of the nation's longest-running social and emotional instruction programs. She is co-author, with Janet Piatti, of Waging Peace in Our Schools.

Daniel Goleman is a psychologist known worldwide for his book Emotional Intelligenence, a New York Timesbestseller with more than 5 million copies in print in 30 languages. He is co-chair of The Consortium
for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations and is on the board of directors of the Mind & Life Institute.
