    THIS IS THE BOOK!

    I'VE BEEN MAKING FURNITURE (HOBBY) FOR OVER TEN YEARS NOW...BUT TACKLING A COMPLETE KITCHEN IS ANOTHER STORY...JIM TOOK ME STEP BY STEP AND NEVER MADE ANY LARGE LEAPS THAT WOULD LEAVE A READER SCRATCHING THEIR HEAD. YET HE DOES NOT TALK DOWN TO HIS READER EITHER. MY CABINETS LOOK GREAT AND THE PROCESS WAS JUST AS JIM SAID IT WOULD BE. THANKS JIM

    Reccomended as a first text on cabinetmaking

    The author not only gives the basics of constructing many types of popular kitchen cabinets, he also gives suggested tool lists, cabinet design tips, installation tips for assembled cabinets, and instructions for installing a few common types of countertops over the installed cabinets. The only real dissapointment is he doesn't tell you how to make the gorgeous cabinets on the front cover! This cabinetmaking book should be your first. The only other thing you need is some basic woodworking experience, and the tools themselves.
