Mat Kearney Rocks! This is a rich CD with not one lame track! Hes his own guy, you could never listen to this and compare him to another artist...which is totally refreshing when the music indusrty seems to be just a clone manufacturer. These songs feel like their inspired from a higher source (like heaven) even in light of the more hip hoppy tracks like "train wreck".

Wow. He's a very good songwriter...with a good voice. That's always a nice bonus in this strange era. And he's got some good "driving in the car" kind of music. Some of it is a kind of slow/soft rap. No nasty, disturbing, or suggestive lyrics. Zero cussing. That's always nice too.

Mat Kearney displays pure genius and brilliance with something that is beyond compare. Not one track is like the other, fresh from beginning to end! Slamming & thought provoking.

A prized album of my collection! In a generation screaming for authenticity Kearney holds the line giving us truth intricately laced with poignant lyrics and melodies. What a voice and heart! A timless album (whether accustumed to hip hop or not).

As a tenager in america today, it's so hard for me to find music in the style I like that's actually CLEAN. Mat does a masterful job with his voice and lyrics, and it's so refreshing to be able to hear the beat I love without all the nasty language. Good job Mat! Keep it up!!

All of the tracks on the CD are enjoyable. There's no one or two songs that you repeat over and over again because you don't like the rest. His words burn into your soul and will honestly move your heart. Definite good pick!!

Mat's CD is a breath of fresh air to the nostrils of those who are bored with an industry in desperate need of originality and music in desperate need of substance. "Bullet" envelops both originality and substance while uniting the best of different musical styles and presenting them in a way that is palatable to listeners of all types. His melodies are memorable but not cheesey and his lyrics give your mind something to ponder.
