This book helped me look and feel great. The tips are easy and the author does not tell you that you need to spend tons of money on clothing. She sdnds you to the flea market and nordstrom rack! Loved it

I didn't care for this book. Though there were some decent points, the author was repetetive and the entire thing could have reduced it to a bulleted list of "Do's and Don'ts" Already having sensible style, nothing was overly enlightening. Some of the mentioned procedures for after having the baby seem as though they would be costly. The over all warning of the changes in my body post-pregnancy was not reassuring in the least. I regret not finding this book at the library and spending the money on something more useful.

I really love style and fashion and was wondering how I was going to keep it up during my pregnancy. Amy's book gave lots of fun tips and pointers, while also encouraging items we already own versus buying a new wardrobe.
Her tips came in very handy towards the end of my pregnancy when I was feeling fat and swollen. It was a great pick me up to dress up and get compliments from my friends at how I was a "preganista".
I have purchased this book and given it as a gift for newly pregnant girlfriends so they too can "Bump It Up!"

this is the best pregnancy style book on the market. It is funny too! It also makes a great gift!

Being pregnant, my husband forwarded me an article about this book, so I immediately went out and bought it; my one regret is that I'm already 6 months and would have liked to have been able to utilize the tips for my 1st and 2nd trimesters. The best part of the book is the illustrations- it's great inspiration for thinking outside the box, and re-purposing regular clothes for maternity wear; because average maternity wear is REALLY ugly, and buying only high-end stylish designer maternity wear is VERY expensive. I also like the sidebars they had from other women in the fashion industry and what they did when they were pregnant- it's like having other pregnant girlfriends to commiserate with. My only comment is that it could be a little better organized- the illustrations are scattered throughout the book, but the comments are all in a later chapter, or they make references to other sections of the book when discussing a certain topic. While some people may think the book is sometimes overly basic (i.e. "You can no longer wear form-fitting tailored clothes when you're pregnant" Duh!), overall, an inspiring and entertaining book for pregnant women who still want to remain fashionable throughout their pregnancy.

My sister-in-law gave me this book as a gift and I couldn't put it down!
It was well organized and seemed to flow exactly with how I was feeling
as a first time mommy to be. Although it is filled with the "big
hitters' of the fashion industry it felt like they were in my closet
when they wrote their tips. Being pregnant is so overwhelming that one
can barely get dressed in the morning. However, Koch's book allowed me
to buy a few basic pieces and use the rest of my existing wardrobe to
feel beautiful every day. Since reading her book I get daily compliments
on "how cute I look!" Thanks Amy...you have given my the
confidence I need to get through my pregnancy!
