Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Carlee Hallman
Four bunnies see a hat in a shop window and want to get it for their mother for her birthday. The hat costs a dollar. As the bunnies empty their pockets to come up with the money, a bear clerk helps them add things up. The bunnies learn that 25 pennies, five nickels, two dimes and a nickel, and a quarter all add up to Stickers of the bunnies, hat, cash register and other objects in the shop along with price tags are at the front of the book. Stickers of the various denominations of coins with imprints of bunnies are at the back. There is a fold out page of the shop with shelves on which to place stickers and prices. The simple line drawings are brightly colored. Children will enjoy playing with the stickers and may learn the value of various coins. Reviewer: Carlee Hallman

    Highly Recommended for Pre-K

An adorable book that introduces the concept of money to the Pre-K age group. I like the reproducible money contained in the end pages.
