Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Susan Hoyle Fournier
The illustrator of the best-selling book, Guess How Much I Love You, Jeram seems to create the most appealing animal characters. The mommy rabbit in this story has a baby who looks just like her, only smaller. Mommy Bunny calls her baby Bunny, my honey. Bunny makes friends easily and becomes bosom buddies with a little duckling and a mouse. They play games and sing songs, and usually stay out of trouble. But alas, one day Bunny wanders off and gets lost. He is alone, scared, and crying in the big woods. Soon Mommy Bunny finds her baby and comforts him and he returns to his world of love and security. The predictable story and repetitive text make this a must read for toddlers and preschoolers (and mommies!). All will identify with the love felt between the mommy and baby bunny, and the happy ending will make you cheer every time. Now available in a board book format just right for those sweet little hands. Reviewer: Susan Hoyle Fournier

Meet the Author

Anita Jeram says, "Small children don't realize how dependent they are on their parents until they lose contact with them. It doesn't matter if they're only one aisle over in the supermarket—it feels like a hundred miles away. The world seems a much bigger and scarier place when you're disconnected from the ones who love you."

    A sweet story

My daughter loved this book, but so did dad and mom! I believe this book was authored and illustrated by the same person who illustrated "Guess How Much I Love You." Very sweet. A good bedtime read!

    Cute!!!!

This book is a real winner. It is so sweet and so cute. You can feel the love between mother bunny and baby, especially when baby gets lost. My children love to "read" the part when the lost bunny is calling for his Mommy. This book is a keeper for any bookshelf.

Precious Memories with child kind of book

This book my 7 and 5 year old checked out of the library,..and we all enjoyed it. I can't wait to read it to my 2 and 3 1/2 year old. This is the kind of book that everyone can enjoy,..(though my husband over heard me reading and the repetitious rymes kind of irritated him a bit,...but over all he enjoyed it just because of how much the girls liked it) I'm fixing to order a copy for us for here at home, and also another to send to my cousin for her little 1 year old for Christmas. This book shows just how much a Mommy's love is. when the Bunny got lost the girls started worring but then they saw that his mommy came looking for him. They said that all Mommy's go looking for their children when they don't know where they are. And that is so true! A wonderful book for all ages from birth up about mid Elemetary school.
