Highly readable, well written, and easy to follow story of how one officer had bad examples from veteran police officers, and his fall from grace. A harrowing narrative of life in prison for a former cop. And a good story of how easily corruption can infect a department. Also a good example of how police admin types can escape judgement and penalty, while the lowly patrolmen take the fall. All too real.

Art Winstanley was the first Denver police oddicer arrested in the largest case of police corruption in U. S. history and the first to be sent to the State Penitentiary in Canon City. A story of courage and redenption that averyon can enjoy.

This book was well written and full of details, never a slow moment. I was a child when this happened, living in Denver, and remember hearing about it on the news, I just didn't keep track of the details at the time. Interesting read.

Having some previous knowledge of this author, I was excited to hear of his experiences. Unfortunately the book was stretched into almost 300 pages of self adulation regarding his crimes. After reading how to blow up a safe, I was unimpressed with his growth through the legal process. It was a quick read that would bave been better spent reading the newspaper headlines.
