    Good for a rainy day

The story was interesting and the characters are enjoyable. However overall it fell short of my expectations. There were many typos and at times the story was repetitive. Most of the story was predictable. The resolution came a little too quick in the time line. This gave the story a more fairy tale like feel. Survivors of sexual abuse facing the full impact of what happened do not heal in a matter of a few days. Healing takes a long time and can continue for a lifetime. The conclusion was tied up a little too neatly.

    Highly Recommend

Very well written. I read it in less than two days, in other words I could not lay it down. I feel as though I have been through Texarkana. Should consider making a movie out of it. I look forward to reading the Dream Mountain series. Thanks, Vicki Hale

    Movie worthy

This novel is one that I couldn't put down. The people seemed so vivid and the description used was very clear. I felt every emotion in the way it was written, and I can't wait for Mrs. Thompson to come out with another book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves intrigue, romance and mystery all combined into one book. It's a great read. Don't miss this one.
