All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
The soundtrack to Christina Aguilera's silver screen debut Burlesque shines the spotlight on Xtina, who is in full-bore diva mode -- a return to the splashy swing of Back to Basics after the robotic R&B of Bionic. Of course, many of her collaborators from Bionic remain on Burlesque: Tricky Stewart is responsible for the glitzy dance, and Sia Furler co-writes the ballads, their contributions slotted between two Cher songs designed to push the narrative forward, two Etta James covers, a slice of heavy camp in the mincing "But I'm a Good Girl," and a Nicole Scherzinger co-written interpolation of Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People" that provides a ...

Some of this stuff is quite good, particularly when Christina swings her hips to Etta's lead, bringing to mind the zest of "Ain't No Other Man."

I loved it! The Best Soundtrack since 2002's "Chicago"

I loved it! The Best Soundtrack since 2002's "Chicago"!

It is worth it, her and Cher are amazing on it and the songs make her shine and her remake of "Beautiful People" by Marylin Manson set the tone for her now. It is worth it and is a fun, optimistic soundtrack and one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got!

    Simply energizing

A terrific background to the fantasy of "Burlesque" which boasts Christina and Cher doing the honors.
Cher's "Welcome to Burlesque",and Christina's "I like a man who takes his time" are show-girl treats.A terrific soundtrack to set the partying mood of Winter.

    FABULOUS!

This soundtrack will make you feel like you are right in the front row of Tess's Club(in the movie). The music is rich & powerfull. You won't be able to stop yourself from moving to the beat. These two ladies were born to make this for us. So enjoy the show! My fav's are: Welcome To Burlesque,Express & Bound To You

    Awesome Soundtrack ..

Soundtracks don't get better than this, Christina really shines on this project, listen to Bound to You and ask yourself, is this not one of the best songs you've ever heard? ..
