Burlesque: Legendary Stars of the Stageby Jane Briggeman
JANE BRIGGEMAN began studying entertainment history at the age of 12, including old movies, theater, silent films, and vaudeville. While helping her mother at antique shows, she began collecting old sheet music, and in the late 1970s began writing biographical shorts on vaudevillians. After meeting burlesque performer Tanayo, Jane's interests turned to burlesque, and in 1995, she founded the Golden Days of Burlesque Historical Society. Jane lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
