Burne-Jones: 16 Art Stickersby Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones
English painter Edward Burne-Jones (1833–1898) was greatly inspired and influenced by antique and classical art, the works of Botticelli, and especially by the artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti, to whom he was once apprenticed. He chose, as his favorite subjects, romantic legends and allegories, producing self-consciously aesthetic and dreamlike works that often featured a distinctive kind of ethereal female beauty. Sixteen of Burne-Jones's most famous paintings have been reproduced for this lovely collection of fine art stickers, among them The Garden of the Hesperides, Astrologia, Saint George and the Dragon, Pan and Psyche, and Tree of Forgiveness, as well as details from Love Among the Ruins and The Sleeping Princess―ideal for lending a decorative accent to almost any flat surface.
