Review by Ursula: Wynter Daniels writes a scorchingly sexy story! Devon Wise is a likeable woman that has closed herself off from even considering a relationship. That is, until the night she meets a sexy stranger...Ben is more than she expected when she went home with him for a night of escape from reality. Ben has some quality that pulls her in and leaves her thinking about him after just the first night. Ben isn't looking for a relationship right now, but the ethereal woman he sees across the room has his full attention. He's bothered when he wakes up the morning after and finds her gone. But then the unexpected happens and the two are thrust into both danger and a strong desire for each other. Burning Touch is well written and the characters are likeable; the sex is steamy and the hero is everything a woman could hope for. The plot behind why the killer targets Devon is a little murky though. I'm not sure why the killer even involved Devon in the first place and the motive for going after her is weak. It is almost as if the mystery side of the story was thrown in just to give Ben and Devon a reason to be forced to spend time together. It didn't feel as well thought out as the romance side of the story. Devon's past and insecurities in relationships makes her a great and intricate character. Ben's distrust of women early on could have been revealed a bit more. But overall, the story was very enjoyable and the pace was nicely done. It didn't feel rushed but the story kept moving nicely. I enjoyed Burning Touch. This is the first book by Wynter Daniels I've read, but I doubt it'll be the last.

Devon is a sweet masseuse with trust issues, who cares for stray cats.  So she couldn't possibly be a murderer.  Well, that's not what the police think when two of her clients are found dead.  After one night together, Ben finds himself willing to protect Devon at all cost.  But he too must fight feelings from his past as they work to uncover the true killer.  With plenty of twists and sizzling love scenes, this is a great read!

Burning Touch is another fantastic read by the very talented Wynter Daniels! Devon Wise is an in home Massage Therapist, whose client has turned up murdered. Her friends take her out to cheer her up when she meets a tall, dark, handsome man with aquamarine eyes. Ben Stafford is a real estate agent and contractor that flips houses, who has just come off a divorce. Devon and Ben are mutually attracted to each other and end up going to his place. To keep her distance Devon sneaks out in the morning and heads home and then to massage a client. Her roommate Chuck mentioned there was a new person moving in next door, so when she receives a nasty note about her rescue cats, she assumes it's the new neighbor next door. When she marches over there and knocks on the door, who should she see but Ben, he's her new neighbor, preparing to flip that house. As the story progresses, Devon and Ben have feelings for each other, even though they both want to keep their distance, but their burning for each other seems to over come their fears. Also more of Devon's clients end up murdered and she becomes the number 1 suspect and draws Ben into the drama he does not want, but he can't deny helping her. As they try to find the murderer to clear Devon's name, it puts them both in danger. A book that had me turning pages and not wanting to put it down, between the murder mystery and the electrifying chemistry between Devon and Ben. A great read you will truly enjoy.

Devon Wise is a massage therapist who caters to people in their homes. She has a couple friends and her room mate Chuck, all of whom she is sure will leave her someday and she'll have to deal with that pain then just like when she lost her parents. She just doesn't get too close to anyone else. So when she is out with her friends and catches site of a hunk of a man, and he's just as interested in her, they dance and she learns his name is Ben Stafford And he deals in real estate investments. She agrees to go for pizza with him. There is definitely a mutual attraction and Ben invites Devon to his place. She's ready for a good time but tells him it's just now, no strings. That's fine with him and...Wow! The sex is sizzling hot. Ben wakes up to find Devon already gone. The next day, Devon finds a rather angry letter on her door about her cats, so she marches next door to find out if they left the letter. And who answers the door? Yep, Ben Stafford. He is moving in to fix and flip the house. And no, he didn't write the letter but he gets Devon to go for coffee with him before he tells her that. So now he knows where she lives! Their neighbors! Lol. Devon has a few new clients to see and she goes on with her life, and Chuck, her roomy, is a wedding planner and has a real bridezilla for a client right now. Devon thinks that she looks familiar but can't really place her and forgets about it. Then Devon's new clients start dying....well, murdered really and Devon finds the first one when she returns to look for her phone. Ben gets involved when it's pretty clear that Devon is next! Getting shot and Ben getting hurt puts things in perspective for Devon and they both are ready to give a relationship a try. This well put together mystery/steaming hot story is as thrilling as it is erotic. I enjoyed this story immensely.

Devon Wise, is a masseuse who lives in an upscale Winter Park Community in Florida with a roommate. She is wary of any permanent relationships and just keeps them casual. She went out with friends and met Ben Stafford, who is a Real Estate Investor. There is an instant attraction between them and they have a very hot and steamy night together and it was made clear by both that this is just a casual thing. Seems Ben also has a house in the same Community as Devon and lives right next door which makes things a little awkward for them. A couple of Devon's clients have been murdered and the police suspect Devon of having something to do with the murders. Devon and Ben seem to be having quite a hot and heavy affair even though each of them has been hurt in the past, so they are very wary of committing themselves to each other. Ben believes that Devon had nothing to do with the murders and agrees to help her. Now the killer seems to be after them. Will they ever get over their mistrusts to have a real relationship, will they find out who and why her clients are being killed? You'll have to read this story to find out all the answers. There's a lot of hot and erotic sex, suspense, action that keeps you on the edge of your seat! Wynter has done it again, this is a fantastic read and I highly recommend it.(BO)
