Meet the Author

Born and bred in Essex, England, Marie Coulson discovered her love of writing in her early teens. Beginning with poetry and song lyrics, she tried her hand at creative writing while studying for her English GCSE.

It was love at first line.

Unfortunately, Marie's career as a childcare and education practitioner soon took up most of her time and writing became something she only dreamed about.

In the summer of 2012 she quit her job and enrolled at university, ready to start a new career as a therapist. This left her with a lot of time on her hands and on August the 20th she sat down and wrote the first chapter of Bound Together.

Bound Together was a story that had been waiting three years to be written and when fingers hit the keyboard...Layla, Jared and Ollie's story was born.

Look out for other books by Marie Coulson including the tantalizing sequel to Bound Together. Burning Up - Available NOW, Romantic British comedy - Diary Of A Dieter and the Bound Together novella - Last Christmas.

This is book 2 in the Bound Together series and is the continuat

This is book 2 in the Bound Together series and is the continuation of Layla, Jared and Ollie's story.
I have very mixed emotions about this book. I found myself very frustrated because of Layla's selfishness and immaturity.

Layla is a tantrum-throwing, spoiled little girl. She was just down right annoying and acted like we should all feel sorry for her instead
of the two guys she was hurting. I definitely didn't feel sympathy for her!

For me, Jared was the saving grace of this book. He's the only reason I like it as much as I do.
He was protective and a bit possessive but everything he did was because of his love for Layla.

"I love you, Layla. I don’t make rules to hurt, restrict or deprive you of your freedom.
I make rules to protect you and keep you safe. I love you.”

I'm not the biggest Ollie fan. I would prefer Layla to be with Jared even though I feel like she doesn't deserve him since
she treats him terribly. Actually, I take that back, both guys deserve better than her.

I hope in the third book, she finally figures out what it is she wants, or even better, ends up alone!
And yes, I will read the third book because I love torturing myself. If you like love triangles and being frustrated while reading,
then this is the book for you!

I have a love/hate relationship with this book. Definitely a 4 star read!
