Bio: Born and raised on the Arizona desert, Sue learned firsthand many of its hard lessons. Filled with unbelievable beauty, its vast openness continued to remind her just how dangerous it can be. She misses her time on the desert but she does not miss the relentless heat. After retiring from teaching she traveled just far enough north to escape the heat and avoid the snow. Now she lives on the beautiful Oregon Coast where she and her partner play with their dog on the beach every morning and where she occasionally takes time to write a little. Her first published endeavor was a cookbook edited with her partner, Nel Ward, and their good friend Lee Lynch called the butch cook book. Her published novels, a young adult book titled Panic! and two Loni Wagner Western mystery novels, The Truck Comes on Thursday, and The Bus Stop at the Last Chance can be found on www.amazon.com. Sue can be contacted at suehardesty80@gmail.com.
