    Bushwhacked is a wake-up call

Bushwhacked by Michael B. Davie gets up close and personal with George W. Bush. As the author points out, it's truly astonishing that Bush demands the support of friendly countries such as Canada while slapping these allies with completely unjustified trade penalties. It's simply disturbing that the Bush administration seems incapable of seeing the point of view of other nations. This is a well-researched, well-written provocative book that's a must-read for thinking people everywhere.

A superb, balanced book on Bush

Wow! What a refreshing change from all of the cheerleader books on Bush that are flooding the market. Bushwhacked by Michael B. Davie takes a thoughtful, balanced, thought-provoking look at George W. Bush. Davie is the only writer I've come across who examines the Bush presidency in such a thorough manner, free of any jingoism or hype. The author asks why Bush bullies other nations and then expects them to blindly do his bidding. This is a superb book. Highly recommended.
