I read Busted by Emma Harrison, a Sparknotes SAT vocabulary novel. I liked this book so much and learned new vocabulary words. The plot of this book was great throughout the whole novel: thrilling, adventurous, and enigmatic. Kim Stratford or Kim Sharpe, the protagonist of the novel, is an undercover cop trying to solve a drug ring matter at Hereford High School. She grows both mentally and emotionally through her first job as a deputized police woman. She improves in ¡°stalking¡± her suspects and in calculating every single piece of evidence to report them to her mom, who is the Chief of police. However, she turns out to have a crush on one of her suspects and has a hard time not siding with him. As the ¡°real¡± drug dealer is caught after all the difficulties, Kim is relaxed and proud of herself. As I read the book, I felt as if I was Kim herself, and wasn¡¯t able to put it down. I strongly recommend this book to everyone who loves an exhilarating cop story.

It was a lot more intresting than it seems, I liked the ending, and I would like to see it turned into a series! If you like fast paced mysteries it's right for you.

I thought this bood was great! Because of the SAT words it's a longer read but bye no means is the read any harder. I recommed this book to 8th grade and up. :)!

I bought this book with the intention of reading the story and not really being concerned with the vocabulary. The story itself was really fun and made me giggle hysterically at some of the things that happened. The vocab, however, was either inconsequential to the story or hindered it. While the words are all used correctly in the technical sense, the connotations of those words are sometimes forgotten. Let's just say that having your heart 'distend' in your chest does not really sound like a positive thing. Overall, the book is good. The story is a quick, easy, and fun read and if you're looking to build your vocabulary, you'll find all the words you need along with accurate definitions. Just don't expect many context clues to help you figure out what they mean for yourself.

it is a really good book. The Vocab is kind of secondary and we will see if it actually helps me on the SAT but regardless the book is really good. It is funny and the kind of book that makes u jealous of Kim and u just want to know what happens to her. Its good, a fun and easy read.

Ever since I started to read this book, I honestly couldn¿t help but laugh. To me it was so funny. I don¿t know why, but I think that the way Kim was acting, was pretty hilarious. She kind of reminded me of me when I uses to think that I was some kind of super agent trying to find what my brothers were doing. Yes as much as I hate to admit it, its true. I think that this book was extraordinary. Truthfully I read this book in one day. I just couldn¿t put it down. It was THAT good. I loved it. I even read it over and over since part of it was really cute. This was one of my favorite books.

this book proved to be very pleasurable. Even if your not cramming for the sat, its a great way to expand your vocabulary. I often find myself incorporating these new words into my everyday vocabulary.

Even though I had just finished my 2nd year in college, and don't need to study for SATs anymore, I still look for ways to boost my vocab because it really doesn't hurt to have some extra vocabulary stashed in your brain while you're in college. So, I decided to give this book a chance and I absolutely loved it! It was a quick-read and much more entertaining than I expecte (a nice break from heavier college reading material that can sometimes be tedious to get through), and yes, I was able to score a few new vocabulary words out of it.

This was a fun edgy book that I really loved. I read a lot and this is probably one of my absolute favorites If you dont read this book you'll sooo regret it and you don't even need to be studying for the sat's to read it. This book is absolutely a must read

Excellent Book. Even though I knew many of the words already, it did enhance my vocabulary.

Really not a bad read, plot wise. I don't know if I would have bought it without the SAT words strewn in there but as it was, it certainly wan't tedious to read. I did find that most of the words I already knew... which made me feel more confident for the verbal section if nothing else!

It's not Dickens, but it is a still a pretty good read. I would recommend it to any high school female. Not sure the guys would like it so much since one of the main plotlines is that the main character falls head over heels for one of her suspects. Definately has a lot of SAT vocabulary in it. As for boosting your verbal score, the jury is out.
