MEECHE is a very busy Owl that spends most of her time cleaning up around the house.


Maxwell the Bee is MEECHE'S friend and really wants to spend time with her. When MEECHE finally finishes her cleaning it's dark, and when she gets to the park, she can't find Maxwell the Bee. While all alone, MEECHE reflects on what Maxwell said about taking breaks.

Hello! My name is Mechelle Davis, and I am the author of Meeche The Melodious Owl. I was born in Winston Salem NC and I have one child, Mario Vaughn whom I love very much. My mother, father and grandmother are my greatest influence on why I love teaching. At the present I am a Pre-K Teacher at Kimberley Park Elementary School and have enjoyed teaching for many years.
