    Not for me....

Was disappointed in this book. Sounded like it was right up my alley, but really only came away with one or two recipes I would even bother trying. Not much creativity involved. And while I realize it is intended for "busy" people, there seems to be a lack of many fresh ingredients. Also found there to be an inconsistency in the recipes themselves - one recipe will list, say, "elbow macaroni, uncooked" in the ingredients while another will just say "elbow macaroni", though it is clear from the directions that they should both be using uncooked. Don't waste money on this one, I think it will just confuse most "average" or beginning slow cooker users. The "Fix-It and Forget It" series is a much better value and the recipes are far more interesting.
