The Best Book For Saints Information

This is by far, the best book on the saints that I own!! It has detailed information of each Saint listed and is a great book to have handy if you are a recent convert or a current praticing Catholic. It is a great refresh, and rather then giving small details of each as we already know, it goes into more depth and giving new insight for those who want to learn about all of them, not just the top favs we tend to acknowledge in church. There are so many and not enough info is available on all of them until they made this book:-' A must read for anyone wanting to nourish the soul and grow in their catholic faith. It stands out from the rest I own and has become a favorite reference of mine, I would recommend this to anyone with curiosity about the rest of the saints that to often go unrecognized or referenced. Great reading and learning.

    Detailed biographies of the Saints!

I found this book filled with various Saints that you won't find in more "modern" publications, as well as details of their lives that, again, are not found in most other biographies. The one drawback I encountered is that in some instances, their Feast Days on the Church calendar have changed for some of the Saints in Butler's version, so they are inaccurately listed in this book. Otherwise, Butler's Lives of Saints is a most welcome addition to any Catholic library for its content!
