Excellent military sf

General Bill Booly has earned his rank by heading a successful defense against a mutiny against the government of Earth. But all too soon, they face a new, more threatening danger. General Booly and his troops find themselves in a battle to literally save the universe. The threat centers around a human who has a fanatical obsession with the destruction of all sentient beings in the universe. To this end, the human has discovered a lethal technology, the like of which the universe has never seen.
William C. Dietz is the author of the phenomenally successful Legionnaire series of military science fiction. By Force of Arms takes the reader back to that universe and sets him down in the middle of the biggest battle yet, the battle for all life. Ambitious and just as adventurous as anything Dietz has written, By Force of Arms will not disappoint fans of military science fiction, and will probably delight those waiting for the next Dietz novel.
Rickey R. Mallory
