By the Light of a Thousand Starsby Jamie Langston Turner
This is the story of two families with nothing in common but their street address. The Chewnings are recent arrivals to the neighborhood, and their unique way of interpreting life's trials becomes quickly apparent to Catherine Biddle, whose outwardly immaculate household is unraveling from within. Horrified by the chaos and clutter at the bustling Chewning house, yet awed by the peace they radiate, Catherine and her family find themselves drawn to discover joy amid the uncertainties of a temporal world.
Universal themes and eternal truths come together in a story that will delight readers of all ages.

This contemporary novel is the best of what Christian fiction can be. The characters are authentic and even the Christians have flaws. I didn't even realize this was a sequel, it stands well on its own.
This fabulous author brings you into the lives of her characters once more, showing you how their lives are unsuspectingly changed by unexpected forces. This is a wonderful story of how even the lives of the unlovable are touched and molded by the Lord who loves us! She also gives us a glimpse into the legacy left by characters in her first book, Some Wildflower in My Heart. I missed Birdie and Margaret since reading her first book. Langston Turner's characters will wind their way into your heart, and their lives will inspire you to move closer to Christ. Please, Jamie, keep writing!
