About the Author

June A. Ramsay is a novelist of ‘faith based’ love stories.

Her stories focus on the journey of people overcoming devastating life experiences - and then rising to positions of purpose, power, and confidence through determination and willpower. Her writing slogan is ‘From Bondage to Freedom’

June shows how people can change their lives through consciously changing their thoughts and actions - thereby changing their life’s situations. All the characters in her stories have been victimized in some way - by their partners; by family; or by life’s inequalities.

Born in British Guiana, (now Guyana), she grew up in a strong Christian family and community. June migrated to the USA and made a career working in executive business administration for the major ‘big five’ accounting firms. Returning to college as an adult, she graduated from Empire State College, New York with an Interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree communication and human development.

From a very young age June was captivated by reading, storytelling, writing, the written word, along with pens and paper. In addition to writing, she loves Journals and have created a few of her own.

June currently resides in Baltimore/Towson, Maryland.
