Editorial Reviews

Curledup.com on C is for Coco
This book offers so much more than the alphabet. This tiny toy, in her assorted dioramas, just cannot stop entertaining readers.
Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
There is no dearth of alphabet books and this one is different in that it features Coco, a fluffy little pompom chick in a variety of scenes. On the opening page Coco has a bright pink bow sitting on the top of her head, and in her hand is a tasty looking red apple. The text is no surprise "A's for the apple I eat every day; B's for the bike I ride when I play." The word that features the letter appears in bold, and the letters of the alphabet which begin each sentence are in bright colors. The yellow chick is photographed with real objects, and by the end of the book, you may start thinking of Coco as "the real thing." The closing scene (dioramas) with her asleep in bed (pink bow finally removed) also contains a plug for her book Where is Coco? Pair this book with Coco Counts: A Little Chick's First Book of Numbers.
