C. J. Goes Hunting for Nouns
C. J. Goes Hunting for Nouns is the first book based on the lives of C. J. and a preacher. C. J. is a tom cat. He is eighty-four years old in cat years. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee. As a kitten he spent many hours in the preacher’s house, the preacher spent many years teaching in the public school system as a substitute teacher. C. J. loves the outdoors and he loves to climb upon things such as ladders, trees, cars, and the preacher’s garage. From their experiences, C. J. and the preacher become fictional characters to aid children in a joyful educational process. C. J. Goes Hunting for Nouns is another educational tool for parents, teachers, and children. The book was written for second and third grade but it can be read as a storybook for kindergarten and first graders.
