Overview

Everyone's favorite dinosaurs are back--and this time they are going to school. More fun dinosaur antics await. These prehistoric pupils are in a class of their own!

As in their previous books, Yolen and Teague capture children's rambunctious natures with playful read-aloud verse and wonderfully amusing pictures.

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Mandy Cruz
The Spanish translation of How do Dinosaurs go to School? is just as much fun and thoughtful as the English version. The reader is asked if dinosaurs interrupt the class with silly jokes, shout out, run through the halls, or steal their classmates' lunches. No, dinosaurs are polite in school. They raise their hands and help their classmates, very carefully. At recess they play with many friends and growl at the aggressive kids. Probably the most important, dinosaurs leave the neat as a pin. An adorable addition to the "How do Dinosaurs...?" series that teaches children how to behave in school while jokingly pointing out unacceptable behavior. Dinosaurs are the best etiquette teachers, whether the reader is a dinosaur aficionado or not. Who does not smile at these prehistoric creatures in human settings trying to fit in our world? Now Spanish speaking, or bilingual, children can learn the lessons being taught by the dinosaur. Reviewer: Mandy Cruz
