This is a useful book for anyone who wants to purchase, renovate, or build a cabin. The author begins with concept, discusses the importance of a master plan, then leads you through the materials and construction steps needed to create your private hideaway. Sketches and photographs are plentiful, and help maintain readers' interest. Authored by an architect who specializes in cabin design, it nevertheless is written for the general consumer. Recommended.
