Features: "The book discusses the history of the cadet nurse corps during WWII and contains recollections of former cadet nurses. The pictures are appropriate and well placed. It truly brings to light the experiences, emotions, and hardships that the cadet nurses endured.
Assessment: This is an excellent historical perspective of the cadet nurse corps. It details the accomplishments, personal experiences, and hardships of these women. It is an important addition to the history of nursing in America.
