Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Mom and Caillou's baby sister Rosie are all ready to go shopping. When asked if he wants to push his sister's stroller Caillou finds that something else is more fun. He wants to walk by himself and what is really special is that he has found a stick to play with. Of course he can not bring that into the store, so he puts it under a park bench. Caillou also feels that he is too big to ride in the grocery cart, but after a few mishaps that is where he ends up. Now he is out of sorts and tries sitting in Rosie's stroller for the trip home. After he retrieves his stick then life takes a turn for the better and he decides that he is big enough to push Rosie's stroller. The illustrations appear to be computer generated and there are additional items in each scene that kids can point to and name on their own or with the help of a caregiver. An adventure that young Caillou fans will enjoy and it may encourage them to read more stories and perhaps watch Caillou on TV. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
