This application is recommended for ages 0-4.

In Caillou's World choose one of the familiar scenes from Caillou's life (such as his playground, playschool, or attic). At first the scene will be drawn in black outlines just like a coloring book. As you look around, an element of the scene--a toy, animal, tool, or object--will light up for a moment. Touch it and try to figure out which letter its name begins with. Is it A for airplane? What letter does dragonfly start with? Get it right and the item will be filled with color and the scene will begin to be filled in. If your child guesses the wrong letter, a picture beginning with that letter will appear and they will have a chance to learn another pairing: ""Box starts with a B!"" and they can simply try again. The fewer guesses it takes, the more stars you earn. Once you find and identify six items the entire scene will magically fill in with bright beautiful colors, and your child will be thrilled to discover all the letters and stars they have won! The next time you try that scene, you will see new items, mixed in with the items you had trouble with the time before; the app follows and helps your development while keeping the game fun and the time passing.

    Cute

    My nearly three old loves this game. The colors are vivid. She gets so excited when she gets the letter right and keeps going back to the same room to see what is next.

    Just OK

    This is a good app for ages 3+ My 2.5 yo likes it but it doesnt keep her interest for long. I think she will grow well into it

    Needs to have more

    Disappointed in this. Really thought there was more to it. Based on screen shots thought there was a chance for coloring or something too. My 3 year old son kind of likes it because Caillou is in it but he just touches the letters until he gets it right not because it is the correct answer, then he gets bored. This says for ages 0-4 but it's more for ages 4-6. And really needs to have other activities in it. Something more interactive like coloring, stickers, or just different games.
