    Great tips and awesome recipes!

I found this book from a review from frindsfoodfamily blog. Here is what they had to say.

"About a month ago, I found this ebook through my iPad apps. It was called Cakeballs!by J. Brentzel. It was this great little recipe book that teaches you how to make cake balls. It was pretty funny and as I read through the introduction there was a

WARNING**** Cake Truffles can be (and usually will be) addictive****

They must be good if the warning mentions the word addictive. So, off to the grocery store to get the two main ingredients 1. A Cake Mix and 2. Frosting.

These were going to be easy...make the cake according to the instructions, let it cool, crumble it up, mix with frosting, shape into balls, dip in chocolate and voila! CAKE BALLS. This is almost to easy to be true."

I am not a baker and was able to prepare these with ease. The tips given, especially on dipping the balls, made the whole process as easy as, well, cake. I love the fuss everyone makes over these and love to share some "baked goods" with my family and friends, which is something I never could do before I started making cakeballs.

I thought the recipes were well written and did not notice any grammatical mistakes like the last reviewer. I have only made 6 of the recipes so far but each has turned out perfect! My favorite is the banana split because they do taste just like a banana split...YUM!

    So many ideas!

I have to say, the only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because you can't navigate to specific recipes. You have to flip through a page at a time. Other than that, this is a vast wealth of ideas for every kind of cake ball you can think of. It includes recipes for various frostings in addition to the add-ins for the flavors as well. Very good buy!

These look amazing! I had never heard of cakeballs before, but I can't wait to try some of these recipes!

This book has a lot of great recipes, ideas and tips for making cakeballs. This has inspired me to make my first batch of cakeballs and they are GREAT! Can't wait to try more, think I will make the mojito next. Thanks for a great book on a new and yummy subject. I do wish the book had some more photos, but other than that it was really well written.

    Informative on content.

This book, like so many out there gives you basic techniques and recipes. A word of advise:

If you know how to bake..MAKE YOUR CAKE AND FROSTING FROM SCRATCH!

There is NO comparison in the end result if using homemade cake and frosting... people were fighting over them; not so with the ones made from a mix like the books suggest.

    Wasn't worth my money.

I thought this book would be a cute little source for new flavor ideas, but I was wrong. Every page has a grammatical error. In one recipe it calls for 1/4 of an ingredient. Doesn't say which measurement, not a cup, not a tablespoon, not a teaspoon, just 1/4 of a liquid. Which made no sense to me. Sure wasn't worth my money.
