I bought this book because, as a Christian, I am always wanting to learn more and to be better. Prayer and hearing God have always been issues I want to know more about. I didn't really feel like I got that with this book. I believe that Kim Clement is a Christian with a passion for God. I believe that God speaks to him - I believe that God speaks to us all. But to me, the book was centered around his own experiences and not very helpful to the regular everyday folks like me who want some concrete help in that area. It's an interesting book to read to learn about the author, but no help for what it promises, hearing God's voice for yourself.
Kim Clement is crazy his new book confirms it. It is called, 'Call Me Crazy but I¿m Hearing God.' Clement describes his childhood in South Africa growing up in a home where his mother was a spiritist and would take young Kim to psychics. He came to love what he called a 'mystical atmosphere' he felt when visiting the family psychic. He had powers from the time he was eight-years-old & heard voices giving him information that he considered helpful. These familiar spirits helped him with his music lessons ¿ he was a child prodigy with the piano. In several places he refers to God as 'The Law of Attraction,' a term popularized by the New Age system called 'The Secret' that has been popularized by Oprah Winfrey. On page 61, he writes 'The Law of Attraction will draw people to you. The Law of Attraction is the light of tomorrow ¿ God.' And just to confirm Clement¿s connection to the New Age movement¿s demonically inspired program, Clement is calling his newest enterprise 'Kim at Secrets ¿ the House of the Prophet' and his web page is called 'Secrets Hollywood.' These clues identify Kim Clement as one connected with the angel of light that the Bible identifies as Satan who masquerades as something benevolent.
The message of this book is that God wants to speak to every person regardless of their vocation. It's packed with some incredible stories, a history of prophets and imposters, and teachings that give a unique perspective on the subject. I give this book 5 stars. VERY INSPIRATIONAL
I truly Recommend this Book for all 5 Office Ministers, that think to now how a Prophet should Speek or release the Word of the Lord,Prophets are For TODAY.
Rediscover the value of prayer and hearing God if your own life! This book answers a lot of questions with Biblical accuracy posed by those who are highly critical or afraid of this phenomenon. Clement reveals the ORIGINAL purpose of the prophet was not to be a judge of humankind, but to be as Abraham 'the first prophet noted in the Bible'- to be a blessing to the Nations. He refers to Christ's life as the greatest model for those who want to be prophetic, demonstrating grace and truth and reveals the spiritual and practical blessings of hearing and obeying the voice of God. It's worth your time whether your a fan or a critic.
