    awsome

this is the first real clasic ive read and its feels like a modern tale. Lovecraft was way before his time. A must read for all would be writers.

    Check your references.

Seriously? This is what started it all. Bad spellchecking? Dude this was written waaaaaaaay before computers. That video game you mention was INSPIRED by this masterpiece. Every Horror Maven since (think SAW or Hellraiser) owes thier inspiration to Lovecraft. This man practically created $h.. your pants horror. Go back and learn your literature history. THEN write a review.

Great short story for a great price.

I started reading this and I could not put it down. It is a great piece of fiction and I recommend it to anyone.

Amazing story, poor spellchecking and unoriginal imagery.

The story itself is outstanding. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down! The two flaws unfortunarely are as follows:
    1) The story was not thoroughly reviewed, as there were a moderate number of typos. This at times can throw off the reader because not all words are obvious fixes and can be something entirely different.
    2) The imagery is either repetative or entirely unoriginal. One image I recognized immediately from a video game called "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth". Other images I have seen elsewhere, so I really was disappointed that these images were anything but original.
These flaws are minute in comparison to the overall story, but they are the reason this received a 4/5.
