Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Lovelace's military romances (her last was Duty & Dishonor) have garnered a justifiably large following. It may be that there's still something special about a guy (and gal) in uniform, but this is good writing, too. Computer specialist Captain Jennifer Varga is targeted by a secret paramilitary group when she innocently backs up the files of a co-worker who'd dropped dead of a heart attack. If you're a sucker for An Officer and a Gentleman or JAG, you'll eat this up.

    Answer the Call

As a military brat turned active duty turned military spouse, I really loved this book. I could identify with the attitude of the Capt. from the first paragraph on. Many of us wonder the same thing. The plot kept me reading through the night (I couldn't put it down) and the characters made me a true Merline Lovelace fan. I recommend her books to all my friends, military and civilian.
