So Much Meat in Such a Little Book!!

This little book is an eye opener. Ms. Grein simply tells of episodes of her life during her walk with Jesus. She discovers that her love of music is her ministry. She is powereful with her delivery without being overwhelming. She expresses each moment of enlightenment in a way that readers are enlightened with her. She writes as a spitually gifted musician. This is not to say that other musicians are not "spiritually" gifted; this is to say that she writes from a prospective that she recognizes--such that she has--is a gift from God. On her own power, she could not have ministered to others through her music. She never would have thought about it.

This author's journey is inspirational in that we all have a gift from God. It may not be music. It might even be making a good sandwich. Whatever it is, it is from God and we relate to her journey in that respect. In doing so, we learn that there are no insignificant gifts from God. We may not think so much of them, but they are important--no matter how small or great--to the kingdom work.

This book is easy reading. It is not deep, dark, spooky, or weird as some Christian writers will have us to believe God's powers and gifts to be. At times it is even funny. Ms. Grein makes us feel like we are sitting in her living room talking with her. The book truly illustrates how it takes all of us to make up the body of Christ--the church, if you will--and how we are all important and have something to contribute to it.

This is a book worth keeping on the bookshelf and reading over and over.

    GOD Calls Each of Us.....

GOD does call each of us, but we don't always answer His call. After we answer His call, He appoints us to a ministry. Once we are appointed, He annoints us to that ministry. It can be in music ministry (like my husband) or it can be with youth (myself). Even if you feel inadequate for the ministry God has called you to, this book will help you realize that the ministry will always be bigger than you are and that God wants you to keep your focus on Him and to continue to rely on Him for strength. Everyone should read this book. It is easy and quick to read.
