The overall quality of the book was excellent. The meanings and techniques were clear and concise. The only real problem was that the pen set the author recomends is hard to find. Most online stores are sold out and brick and mortar stores simply do not carry it. Overal a comprehensive book on Calligraphy.

I love this book. It's easy to understand and follow. BUT for you to be able to use it as the author intended, you need to make a copy of the practice sheets that are in the back of the book. Guess what B&N won't let you do that. I contacted the publisher and was told by them that there were no printing restrictions, (you are TOLD to make copies of the practice pages in the book) but for some reason B&N won't allow it. It's for that reason that even though I highly recommend this book, I do not recommend it in nook format unless you have access to it in paper form so that you can get a copy of the much needed worksheets that are provided. Excellent book!  Get the paperback but not the Nook edition because you will benefit from additional information to resources. Will  His techniques will work with any calligraphy pen sets sold by Barnes and Noble, hobby shops, etc.
