Call Sign: King - Brainstorm is a side story of Chess Team Commander, Jack Sigler.
This is a 3 part Novella series makes up the book.
For fans of the other Chess Team novels who love Jeremy's fast paced, smart, action packed thrillers.
King is joined by his girlfriend and CDC detective Sara Fogg, and his best friend archeologist George Peirce (who was in the Pulse novel).

Callsign: King - The Brainstorm Trilogy by Jeremy Robinson was an action packed way to get to know Jack Sigler and his "family" better. This latest threat "Brainstorm" really gives King a run for his money, but the best is definitely left for the end... Exciting read! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Featuring King, a heart throb hero that you will love.
The Brainstorm Trilogy is all three King novellas in one. These are fun, interesting, and engaging short stories. King is part of an elite force called Chess Team. They fight to save humanity from madmen, myths, monsters, and many other hazards planning to wipe out the human race. In this series of shorts King is up against an opponent named Brainstorm.
The first story takes us to Ethiopia. King heads there after his girlfriend sends him a coded message. The Elephant Graveyard has been discovered and an infection released. Brainstorm is behind this, trying to find a way to control humans.
The second story takes place in Arizona. Making an appearance is the Mogollon Monster. Brainstorm has a scientist hidden at Superstition Mountain working to develop a new source of unlimited energy. King has a Soviet assassin on his heals all through the story, as well as the military who are protecting the research project.
In the third story we get to go to the City of Lights, Paris. King get sent there to acquire Brainstorm, who has arranged a party on the river during an energy conference. Again Brainstorm is trying to get control of the world’s energy. Unbeknown to King, the Soviets have also sent a team to retrieve Brainstorm. Also, Sara and Fiona, King’s adopted daughter, come to Paris. While touring the Louvre, they are drawn into scheme that produces a black hole and destroys the museum.
Through all the stories King is consistent in his convictions. He is a strong character that you are sure to like. There is a lot of science in these books. If you enjoy reading James Rollins then the Chess Team series and the Brainstorm Trilogy are for you.

SF, mythology, action, military, this one has it all. Three action thrilling adventures as Jack Sigler (Callsign:King) goes against black holes, underground creatures and super computer that wants to rule the world. One recommendation read Pulse, Instinct, and Threshold first. You won't be sorry. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
