Overview

A wounded lion is a dangerous beast...

While hiding from vicious militants in a shack she’s called “home” the past couple of weeks, Caly Anderson happens upon a wounded lion. Even though the ferocious beast scares the holy hell out of her, the nurse in her wins over, compelling Caly to help the big, suffering cat…just as soon as she’s finished freaking the fuck out, that is. Her panic returns when she awakens to find her lion is now a hot hunk of man who’s looking at her like she’s a scrumptious dessert.

Jax Rarh, lion shifter of the Serengeti pride, is hunting clues in Africa for an old friend gone missing. Injured and in hiding, he doesn’t expect a beautiful, lush nurse to stumble into his hideout and save him. Her scent drives him crazy, and feasting his eyes on her curvaceous body makes him harder than ever. His every instinct screams at him to claim her as his mate, but Caly, recently divorced, is not only strong-minded, but she also has a fragile heart.

Nevertheless, Jax is one determined big cat, and there’s no way he’s ever letting her go. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Editorial Reviews

Amy Hopkins
"I really enjoyed this book. It's the third book in the Lions of the Serengeti series, and considering I haven't read the previous books and liked this one, it can easily be read on it's own. Although it did make me wonder about the previous ones, so now I may have to go back and read them, just because this was such a good book, and I really liked the author's writing style. It also felt a bit different from the usual shifter books that I've read which was a refreshing change..."

Meet the Author

Lizzie Lynn Lee was a guitarist, receptionist, executive assistant, tarot reader, boutique owner and graphic artist before she discovered writing is her dream job. The advantage is she can do it in her pajamas and socks. She’s an incurable chatterbox, heavy metal aficionado, book worm, digital enthusiast and a night owl since most of her stories were done in the wee hours of the morning because of her caffeine-induced insomnia. These days she still plays her guitar whenever she gets bored, staring at her computer’s screen or plotting the most elaborate scheme of world domination. Fortunately, she has a chronically short attention span.

She loves to hear back from her readers, so drop her a line at:
