    A up-to-date, essential reference work!

Dr. Borsarello has brought much of his previously published work on European camouflage uniforms up-to-date in this single volume, an essential reference for the historian, collector or researcher of military camouflage. Every European country (except the USSR/Russia) is extensively detailed, with colour plates illustrating most of the patterns developed in the past 50+ years, and short historical sketches covering the nations' camo uniform developments into the present day. As with all works on this subject, there are a few minor inaccuracies, some unfamiliar pattern monikers (at least to North American collectors), and a few translation problems. Overall, however, the book is extremely well-illustrated, nicely formatted, and certainly provides us the most extensive and current information available in a single source to the researcher or serious hobbyist.
