Besides having a copy for myself, I have given this book as a gift several times. Want to set up a campsite; cook up S'mores, identify a cloud, learn how to tie knots, make a branch weaving, play a game in the car, take a nature hike, have fun with crafts --this book is loaded. There are even check-lists of what you will need for various activities. Even if you never "Camp Out," this is a great book. While things are explained simply, the reading level is probably upper elementary to adult.
